Pokhara will be declared the tourist capital soon
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Ram Shrestha has expressed confidence that Pokhara will be declared the tourist capital soon. Handing over the tourist bus park in Pokhara to the Pokhara Metropolitan City at a program organized at the Ministry, he said that he would take initiative to make Pokhara the tourist capital.
Earlier, the Pokhara Metropolitan City had announced to make Pokhara the tourist capital. Minister Shrestha said that the construction of a well-organized bus park would help in the development of the tourism sector. He mentioned that the government has given priority to the construction of infrastructure for the development of the tourism sector.
Minister Shrestha handed over the tourist bus park to Pokhara Metropolitan Chief Dhanraj Acharya. The tourism department has constructed a tourist bus park at a cost of Rs 84.5 million near the Rashtra Bank Chowk in the tourist city of Pokhara.
