More than one thousand saplings have been planted in Chitwan district on the occasion of World Environment Day. The trees have been planted under the leadership of social organizations and government offices of the district. On Sunday alone, President Chure Tarai Madhes Development Committee Bharatpur had distributed 550 saplings free of cost. The plants have been taken for planting through various organizations in the district, said Nischal Regmi, Assistant Conservation Officer of the office. He said that private organizations outside the office have also planted trees in their own way. Division Forest Office Bharatpur has been distributing saplings till last year. The movie 'Kabaddi 4: The Final Match' is being prepared for release from this Friday. Advance bookings were opened in multiplexes five days before the release, keeping in mind the craze among the viewers towards this much awaited movie after covid. Every multiplex in Kathmandu has been providing big foreign films to the show. The film has set a record by getting the most number of shows in QFX, the largest multiplex chain in Nepal. QFX has given 98 shows to the film in 11 stations in Kathmandu and Mofasal. This is the highest number of shows received by Nepali and foreign films till date. Locals are excited after the regular operation of Jayanagar-Kurtha train service. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the train service from New Delhi, India. The train, which left at 8.30 am on Sunday, reached Janakpur station at around 10.15 am. General Manager of Nepal Railway Company Niranjan Jha said that the train from Jayanagar to Kurtha and from Kurtha to Jayanagar on the first day was full of passengers in both ordinary and AC directions. He said that regular trains have started running as per the schedule. Residents of Dhanusha, who have been seeing the train running for a long time, are shocked to see the regular running train.
